Abstract

From ethnography with a collaborative and participatory approach, the lawsuit and trial promoted by Nahua women are reviewed, for the defense of their right to vote, as well as the individual and collective stories, in which the awareness of women is recovered, the organization-mobilization, as well as the gender-based political violence to which they were subjected by the authorities of their community because they considered that female political participation went against their uses and customs.
