Los derechos humanos de los pueblos indígenas en México: desafíos a catorce años de la reforma constitucional de 2011
Abstract
Fourteen years after the constitutional reform on human rights (2011), has the Mexican state fulfilled its obligation to guarantee the rights of indigenous peoples? To answer this question, this article first analyzes the persistent conceptual confusion between the terms: fundamental rights, human rights, and guarantees, which has limited their effective application. Previous doctrine has assumed that these concepts are fully understood, without recognizing that the problem for their realization has an epistemological origin. Secondly, through a historical, legal, and statistical analysis, the current state of human rights of the indigenous population in Mexico is documented for the period 2011-2025.Additional Files
