Ellas hablan. Protección jurídica y testimonio en el Caso mujeres víctimas de tortura sexual en Atenco vs. México
Abstract
Sexual violence is a phenomenon that has had different legal treatments that attempt to adapt and provide greater legal protection, especially to women. The figure of sexual torture, which was intended for the scope of international law in armed conflicts, has been taken up from the field of inter-American justice as an option of recognition in the face of the diversification and intensification of violence against women in formally non-war contexts. This study shows the importance of legal recognition of protection against sexual torture, in this text analyzed from the testimony of women victims of sexual torture in Atenco.Additional Files
