Abstract

This article analyzes the interrelation between science and ethics, from the approach of axiological pluralism, since in the evolution of science to technoscience it is proposed that the values of science are not reduced to epistemic value, but must include economic, political, legal and ethical values. Faced with the challenges posed by the development and application of technoscience, i.e., the fusion of science and technology and its impact in areas such as medicine (bioethics) and the environment (biotechnology), ethical reflection is proposed in order to legally prevent the potential risks of the control of technoscience by private investment. The social and ethical responsibility of scientists is analyzed, as well as the implications of scientific research and its application.
