El reconocimiento de las uniones de hecho impropias en el ámbito administrativo ecuatoriano

Abstract

Common-law unions allow cohabitants to obtain legal coverage for their commonlaw relationship, in which the same requirements as for marriage are demanded, for the purposes of registration and recognition of the members of the union. In the case of same-sex couples, it should be noted that in Ecuador, has already recognized marriage, it is unclear whether the same decision could extend to common-law unions. This creates administrative difficulties that are analyzed in this research, which focuses on Ecuadorian legislation.
