Abstract

This paper is an approach to the analysis of women’s rights as a historical process. It seeks to contribute to the knowledge and understanding of their origin, the constant resistance that their recognition and enjoyment have had and, therefore, the need that has existed at different historical moments to amplify the meanings that the norms have with respect to women, without, to this day, managing to permeate their contents in the collective imagination or in the judicial system to the detriment of the social advancement of women. To do so, we start from the moment in which the current constitutional text emerged and analyze the situation that women went through after the refusal of the citizens.
