Abstract

With the increase in the use of global positioning systems (GPS), originates, insome legal cases, the violation of some fundamental rights. In judicial disputes, theaforementioned systems provide material elements, data and means of proof, whichintegrate the expert evidence in computer forensics. This article aims to determine ifit is possible to have the exact location of an alleged defendant, with a high-qualityglobal positioning system, so that the geolocation is precise, and can be suitable asevidence, eliminating technological risks in the operation of GPS.
